My hair loss story
My alopecia journey started almost 10 years ago, I know first hand how difficult it is living with hair loss. Those first few years were very hard, all I wanted was to be my old self again before alopecia.
I always found it hard to find the right wig and have spent a fortune trying to find the one. The day I tried a hair topper was my turning point and I haven’t looked back.
I am still living every day with alopecia, the difference is it no longer matters so much. I am owning it and living my life with amazing hair!

Toppers are similar to wigs but cover less of your head. Hair Toppers clip into your hair using pressure-sensitive clips.
Hair Toppers come in different cap sizes to best suit your hair loss area. You need to measure your hair loss area and add an inch to determine what size cap would be best suited to you.
To wear a topper, you must have some of your own hair to attach the topper too, although you can use a topper grip as an alternative to clips.

Here at Mello-Hair, I believe in getting it right before making any purchase of a hair topper. In-person and online consultations are available to help you make the right choices.
If you have purchased your hair topper from the website or during an online consultation ( excludes custom orders) and you decide that the hair topper isn’t right for you, then I offer a seven-day return policy. The piece must be returned within 7 working days of receipt in the same condition the piece was received, along with when posting your hair topper back to Mello-Hair you must use Royal Mail special delivery and state the value of your package. We ask that you provide the tracking number on all returned items.
The packaging and all other components must be returned with the piece in its original condition.
If 7-days have passed since the delivery of the purchased hair topper, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. Customers need to request a refund or exchange within the time frame to be eligible.
For all custom orders, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required; the balance is to be paid on completion. Custom orders are non-refundable. If the hair topper has a fault, we will try and repair it or exchange it for another hair topper.
If a hair topper is purchased during an in-person consultation, and the customer changes their mind, they will only be eligible for an exchange. Please get in touch within 7 days if you would like to request an exchange. After 7 days have passed since the purchase, an exchange will not be valid.
